Precision behind the light
The design package includes the electrical and control record: layouts, schematics, and fixture plans for dimming, DALI, DMX, and zoned control. These examples show the kind of drawing used in the Dubai studio. They are not labelled as a particular client’s set.
Control in the drawings
The record that lets a ceiling, a specification, and a scene still match at handover.
Lighting control layout
A rack elevation for lighting control equipment, with zones labelled for power and control gear.
System schematic
A single-line diagram for a lighting control system, showing the relationship between control gear and the loads.
Fixture layout
A floor plan marking lighting fixture positions and control zones, used to keep the ceiling and the specification aligned.
Where this sits in the work
Documentation supports architectural lighting design and project management, and it is what installation and commissioning are checked against. DALI, DMX, and pixel-mapping notes belong in that issue, with the fitting layout.
